Clifford Cartwright

Founder and Senior Consultant

Uniquely educated and equipped through decades of experience in diverse settings, Cliff founded the Institute for Ministry Advancement to come along side of small to mid-sized churches and ministries who he sees as the anchor of faith in America.

Early in his life, Cliff started a small business that served his family and his clients well. As he learned about his own calling, he sold his business and returned to college while leading two small rural churches as their pastor over a period of 10 years. After earning his degrees in Community Ministry and a Master’s in Higher Education, Cliff went on to serve in leadership in non-profit ministry and in higher education.

His passion is small ministries, particularly in rural settings, and his discipline is the intersection of faith, education, and work. This is his calling that he loves.

He has been married to Linda for over 30 years. They have 2 grown children.
